50 percent of our bears are making the record books. In fact, one of our hunters took 2004's World's Largest Black Bear Taken by Bow. Hunting our Saskachewan black bear is entertaining, very exciting, and we are very successful at it.

We run many baits in different areas, which allows us to see a lot of different bears. There is excellent color phase in the population.

DETAILS OF THE HUNT

• All bear hunts are 7 day hunts
• We take Spring and Fall hunters
• We specialize in bow hunts but take rifle hunters as well
• We have good color phase in our bear population
• We run many baits along the Hawkrock River as well as on many lakes
• Average bear size is between 200 to 400 pounds. Some bears have exceeded 500 pounds
• We limit the number hunters we take per year
